Joined FCLaw Lawyers & Private Notaries in 2007 and became a partner in 2014.

His areas of practice are mainly labour, civil and commercial. He is the lawyer responsible for the biggest labour litigation dispute in Macau and, according to the website of the Macau Courts, he is the lawyer with the highest number of attendances at Court Hearings in Macau.

He is a lecturer in the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau since 2002 where teaches Introduction to Law, Labour Law and Commercial Law I and II and is the executive coordinator of the Bulletin of the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau.

He was instructor at the “Training and Improvement of Legal Language Course” and at the “Labour Law Training Course”, organized by the Legal and Judicial Training Centre of Macau, invited consultant for the Department of Juridical Reform in the project “Revision of the Commercial Code of Macau”, coordinator of the “Course of Labour Law for Inspectors of the Bureau of Labour and Employment” and of the “Advanced Course in Labour Law for Inspectors”, organized by the Macau Labour Affairs Bureau and instructor of the module “Labour Law” for the Course of Professional Training – Public Prosecutors, organized by Legal and Judicial Training Centre of Macau.

He is the author of the book on “Macau Labour Law”, often referred by lawyers and courts in labour disputes, and published several articles on Labour matters in the Bulletin of the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau.

Education

  • Graduated in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra in 2000.
  • Attended Post-graduation course in Planning and Urbanism at the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra in 2001-2002.
  • Attended Post-graduation course in Labour and Employment Law at Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra in 2001-2002.
  • Master in Juridical Business Sciences at the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra in 2007.
